Workshop: Periodic Table and Numbers
During the workshop, the elements present in the periodic table, how they are organized within the table, their models and atomic numbers were discussed by Prof. Mónica Medina. The application of mathematical concepts for the determination of subatomic particles in the atoms of the elements and other fundamental concepts associated with the periodic table were discussed. In addition, an atomic model of the isotopes of the element carbon was built.
