Prof. Mónica Medina gives workshop on how to carry out and execute a scientific research project for science teachers at middle and high school level. The workshop was given in room AC-336 (ISMuL) at the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo.

During the workshop, teachers worked with the basic foundations of scientific research, the scientific method and its applications, the formulation of robust questions, among others. In addition, they learned to search for and use reliable sources of information, how to correctly cite scientific articles and how to prepare a bibliography to help in the research process. On the other hand, they were able to apply the use of critical thinking to carry out an unknown experiment with a series of materials pre-designed for it.
