Students learned about the northern karst. Together with Cabacoop, students visited the Cristales cave and learned about the diversity of the limestone forests in the area.
Students had the opportunity to launch the rockets they designed and built yesterday with Prof. Torres.
Prof. Nery taught how light interacts with materials and lenses, forming images on a screen and in their eyes.
Prof. Hirohito Torres taught students the science behind rockets and projectiles, jet propulsion and aerodynamics.
Prof. Guillermo Nery taught students about the basic principles of aeronautics. They studied how airplanes fly, using a wooden airplane.
The elements present in the periodic table, how they are organized within the table, their models and atomic numbers were discussed by Prof. Mónica Medina.
Prof. Medina taught concepts related to general chemistry (chemical reactions, bonds, equations, chemical compounds, and much more).
Tessellations was discussed by Prof. Yuitza Humarán, including its definition, history, representation in nature, its impact on the arts and especially its use in different areas of science.
