Students had the opportunity to visit the astronomical observatory of the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao. There, Dr. Desiree Cotto gave a talk about asteroids and planetary security.
Students learned about different nucleic acids, their structure and function with Prof. Emanuel Méndez.
Students learned about the drone and its parts with Joseph Pérez.
Students learned about the solar system and the celestial bodies that inhabit it with Prof. Nery.
Students learned about the principles of robotics with Prof. Zulymar García.
Students learned about the northern karst. Together with Cabacoop, students visited the Cristales cave and learned about the diversity of the limestone forests in the area.
Students had the opportunity to launch the rockets they designed and built yesterday with Prof. Torres.
Prof. Nery taught how light interacts with materials and lenses, forming images on a screen and in their eyes.
Prof. Hirohito Torres taught students the science behind rockets and projectiles, jet propulsion and aerodynamics.
