Prof. Mendez, Ing. Medina, Prof. Acosta, and Dr. Nery created an event focused on teaching about our Sun from an astronomical, chemical, and physical perspective towards high school students and teachers. The program consisted of multiple presentations, starting with showing the movie “Solar Max”, Prof. Mendez’s lecture “Other Worlds”, Ing. Medina’s lecture “Energy for a Living Planet”, Prof. Acosta’s lecture “Planetary Exploration using Remote Sensing”, Dr. Nery’s activity “Solar Observation”.
