Professor Angel Acosta, in collaboration with his research group (FISI4985) and the Norman Veve Troglodyte Cave, guided students from the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo (UPRA) Honors Program, coordinated by Professor Yaniré Díaz of the English Department. The tour took place in a cave where the students learned about the importance of caves and karst formations from conservation, cultural, archaeological, and geological perspectives, as well as their role as an ecosystem that benefits us all.
